About Neo2Paeds

Neo2Paeds was founded by Dr Ahmed Moustafa to create a responsive specialist-care model for newborns, infants and children, grounded in tertiary neonatal medicine and informed paediatric judgement.

Its purpose is to bring considered specialist assessment, clear communication and continuity of care into a model that can grow with like-minded clinicians who share exacting standards of judgement, collaboration and care.

Founder of Neo2Paeds | Specialist Neonatologist & Paediatrician

Dr Ahmed Moustafa is a dual-trained specialist in Neonatal and Perinatal Medicine and General Paediatrics, and a Staff Specialist at the Grace Centre for Newborn Intensive Care, The Children's Hospital at Westmead. His work spans complex newborn care, advanced neonatal resuscitation, clinical education, research and system-wide improvement in neonatal outcomes.

Through the Australian and New Zealand Neonatal Surgical Network, he has contributed to benchmarking and quality improvement for high-risk surgical newborns across Australia and New Zealand. He also contributes to paediatric scholarship as a member of the Editorial Board for Neonatology of the Journal of Paediatrics and Child Health.

He founded Neo2Paeds to translate this depth of tertiary expertise into a responsive private-care model: considered specialist assessment, clear communication and continuity from the newborn period through childhood. His longer-term vision is to grow Neo2Paeds with like-minded specialists who share exacting standards of clinical judgement, collaboration and care.
